Pistachio nuts (fruit), commonly known as 'Pista'(in Hindi,Gujarati,Marathi,Punjabi) also known as ‘Pistha Pappu‘ in Telugu is from Western Asia but it is mostly also available in the Mediterranean region. Botanical name: Pistacia vera.
